It is hard to capture an accurate description of who we are in just one or two paragraphs but I will give it my best. We are high school friends who reconnected after high school through the wonders of MySpace (umm..hello 2006) for what was supposed to be just an informal dinner hang out turned out to be the first date with the love of my life. 

 

I have always known that I wanted to be a mom and Dale almost blew his chance with me when on our second date he said he didn't know if he wanted kids. SAY WHAT??? I have always wanted 5. Thankfully we just moved past that and when his first neice was born everything changed. 1 year into our marriage I convinced Dale to start trying for a baby. 4 years later we still were childless. We even started the process of adopting from foster care before we decided to try for a baby with IVF. We were so surprised when it worked on the first try and in August of 2013 our son was born!

 

We are now starting the process of becoming surrogates for another family so that they can share in the incredible blessing of becoming parents.
